Gardening Photography 1-on-1 Workshop

Creating Stories and Meaning in Photography Workshop

For advanced photographers only.

Join me for a 1-hour walk through the gardens at Primal Fruits Perth, where you’ll learn how to move beyond just “taking a nice photo” and start creating images with meaning, mood, and story. Included in this workshop is the book: Landscape Photography: Finding More Meaning. (When Available)

This session focuses on the art of using your camera to express what you feel, not just what you see.

What you’ll learn:

  • How to connect emotionally with a scene before pressing the shutter
  • Using light, colour, and texture to build atmosphere
  • Compositional techniques that tell a story rather than simply frame a subject
  • How perspective changes meaning: low angles, framing, and layering
  • Choosing between isolation and context to guide the viewer’s eye
  • Practical exercises in finding mood and narrative in ordinary garden settings

This is a relaxed, hands-on workshop designed for advanced photographers who want to bring more depth and impact to their photography while surrounded by rare fruit trees and natural beauty.Workshop Terms & Conditions
