Collette Fingerlime — Citrus australasica ‘Collette’

Collette is a reliable Australian native citrus producing long, slender fruit with yellow-green rind and champagne to pale pink caviar pearls. Flavour is a bright, tangy lime with a mild sweetness, making it ideal for seafood, desserts, and fresh drinks. Hardy, adaptable, and compact enough for pots or small gardens.

Growing and care
Plant in a sunny, wind-protected position with free-draining soil. Blend compost and coarse sand into the planting hole. Mulch well to keep roots cool, water deeply in summer, and feed little and often with citrus fertiliser plus trace elements. Prune lightly after harvest to shape and increase flowering wood. Protect from frost when young. Suitable rootstocks include trifoliata and Flying Dragon for pot culture.
