Green Sapphire Fingerlime
Botanical name: Citrus australasica
Also known as: Green Caviar Lime, Australian Fingerlime
Interesting Notes:
Green Sapphire is often picked for its heavy crops and neat shape. While Alstonville is a big commercial favourite with dark green skin and clear juice. Green Sapphire stays a lighter bright green. Green Sapphire is usually a smaller tree which is easier to manage if you do not have heaps of space. Both are great but Sapphire is the way to go for a tidy backyard bush.
