This ripper passionfruit is a vigorous evergreen climber from the Amazon. It's got beautiful, showy flowers and great tasting edible fruit. Huge, fragrant flowers with pleasant smell and its an extra sweet fruit. Get a passion for it!

It’s called ‘winged-stem’ because the stems have four little wings.
The flowers are amazing, deep red with stripes of purple and white. They come out in late summer and autumn. You'll need a different Passiflora nearby for good fruiting, as they like a mate for pollination. Keep it protected from hard frost, give it a good drink in summer, and watch it grow fast!
Interesting Notes:
The local name for it in some parts is "red star" because of the flower. The fruit is yellow to orange, a fair size, and prized for its sweet flavour.
