Common Names: Lemon Chempedak, Cempedak.
Lemon Cempedak is a tree from South East Asia. It is a small jackfruit like tree with sweet and tangy yellow fruit. It grows well in Perth if you keep it warm in a greenhouse in winter and shaded from Perth's dry heat. Far better flavour than any jackfruit and low latex as well.
The lemon cempedak is a rare version with a tangy lemon zing. It stays smaller than a normal jackfruit tree.
