Lotsa Nuts trees are hardy once they get settled in. They love a good feed of fertiliser and plenty of water while the establishing and fruiting. Because it is a compact grower, you can even keep it in a large pot on your patio. The nuts have a very hard shell, so you will need a proper nut cracker to get to the goodness inside.
Interesting Notes:
Macadamias are actually native to the rainforests of Queensland and New South Wales. They are the only Australian native plant to become a major international food crop. The oil from the nuts is also great for your skin and hair.
