Mammoth feijoa lives up to its name, producing some of the biggest fruits among all feijoas. It’s a vigorous, upright grower best for medium to large spaces or bigger pots. Though not abundantly self-fertile, it fruits heavily when paired with another variety like Nazemetz. The fruit has a sweet tropical flavour with aromatic, jelly-like pulp that scoops easily. It grows well in Perth’s heat, wind and poor soils, especially when given compost and mulch.
Some have fruit now.
