Tree details:

Height: 15–25 m at maturity

Fruiting: 3–5 years from offshoots (6–8 years from seed)

Fruit: Extra-large, amber-brown, soft and chewy “king of dates”

Climate: Best in hot, dry regions with long summers

Pollination: Male and female trees are separate; at least one male tree is required for fruit set. Plant at least 3 to have a pollination partner.
