Sharpblue is the ideal blueberry variety for Perth gardens. It is a low-chill Southern Highbush type built for warm summers and mild winters, producing heavy crops of sweet, juicy berries over an extended harvesting season.

They thrive in pots using an acidic pine-bark mix, making potting management easy.

Interesting Notes:

Sharpblue is self-fertile and will fruit reliably on its own, though cross-pollinating with another Southern Highbush variety will increase your harvest size. Was a traditionally common blueberry, back in the day, in Perth, decades ago.

The leaves turn attractive shades of bronze and red during cooler months, making it a great edible ornamental for suburban backyards.
