This Pinkerton is a top avocado tree for backyards, especially if you're keen creamy fruit. It's a semi-dwarf and a reliable heavy cropper, giving you avos with a small seed and rich flavour.

Pinkerton fruit has an elongated, pear-like shape and medium-thick, easy-to-peel green skin. It's a Type 'A' flowering tree, so for the best fruit set, pair it with a Type 'B' variety like 'Bacon'. Pinkerton is cold-tolerant compared to other varieties and produces its late-season crop from June to August, extending your avocado season.
