Chico jujube

Chico Jujube (Ziziphus jujuba 'Chico') is a compact, early-fruiting variety that produces small, rounded fruit with rich, apple-like flavour and a dense, crunchy texture. The fruit is sweet even when still green and becomes chewy like dates when dried. Chico trees are highly productive, easy to grow, and well-suited to smaller gardens and pots. The tree has shiny foliage, striking autumn colour, and small thorns along the branches.
