Cinnamon Myrtle – Backhousia myrtifolia

A hardy Australian native shrub with soft leaves that smell like cinnamon when crushed. The leaves are used fresh or dried to flavour teas, curries, desserts, and bush foods. White fluffy flowers attract bees and native pollinators, and the plant makes a stunning ornamental hedge or potted patio feature. Easy to prune and tolerant of poor soils once established.
