Scarlet Jaboticaba is a cross between the Red Hybrid and a white jaboticaba.  One of the fastest-fruiting Jaboticabas available. Known for its striking red fruit and unique, sweet flavour, this rare fruit tree is highly sought after by collectors and home growers alike. The tree produces clusters of scarlet-red fruit directly on its trunk and branches, creating a striking ornamental feature.

pH growing conditions: 5.5-6.5

Shade or full sun: Prefers dappled light to full sun

Minimum pot year 5: 50L

Time to fruit age: 4-5 years from seed.

Scarlet Jaboticaba is more cold-tolerant than many tropical Jaboticaba species, making it ideal for Perth’s climate. It thrives in rich, well-draining soil with regular watering. The fruit is very sweet and delicious eaten fresh or made into jams and drinks.

The most sought after jaboticaba variety due to it's dwarf nature, very quick to fruit and produce upto 5 times a year.
