The Feijoa (Acca sellowiana), also known as pineapple guava, is a versatile and fragrant fruit with a sweet, tangy flavour resembling a mix of pineapple, guava, and mint. This small, evergreen shrub is ideal for both fruit production and ornamental use. Feijoas are easy to grow, thriving in well-drained soil and full sun to partial shade. The fruit can be enjoyed fresh, in smoothies, or made into jams.
Needs about 100 chill hours, so perfect for Perth and most of WA, except North of Newman.
