Orange Creeping Raspberry is a tough, low-growing evergreen groundcover that forms a dense carpet of crinkly green leaves. It produces small, edible orange berries with a subtle, sweet flavor. Rubus rolfei is native to Taiwan. It grows naturally in high-altitude mountain regions, which is why it handles cool weather, stays low to the ground, and forms such a tough, dense mat.

Rubus rolfei leaves can be harvested and dried to make a mild, earthy herbal tea with a dry finish similar to black tea. Being in the Rubus family, the foliage is packed with natural tannins and antioxidants, giving the brew light astringent properties that can help soothe mild digestive upsets or work as a gargle for throat irritation. While it carries a similar tannin profile to traditional red raspberry leaf tea, it is mainly enjoyed as a pleasant, caffeine-free herbal drink rather than a specialized medicinal remedy.
