Rosebank Red Fingerlime (Citrus australasica) is one of the most striking and flavour-packed native fingerlimes available. This variety produces vibrant red to maroon-skinned fruit with deep red to pink pulp, often called "citrus caviar." The flavour is sharp, tangy, and slightly floral—perfect for seafood, cocktails, or a native twist to desserts. The tree is a dense, spiny shrub with attractive small leaves, making it ideal as a productive hedge or feature plant.

Rosebank Red grows well in sandy or loamy soils with good drainage. It prefers a sheltered position from harsh winds and can tolerate light frost once mature. Like all fingerlimes, it responds well to regular feeding with slow-release fertiliser and compost. Prune after harvest to maintain shape and remove dead wood.
This rare red cultivar is one of the most eye-catching of all fingerlimes, both in the garden and on the plate. Limited stock available.
