Under 3 metres

This group includes fruit trees, shrubs and support plants that naturally stay under 3 metres tall. They’re perfect for small gardens, edible hedges, large pots or planting under taller trees in layered systems.

Many still produce full-sized fruit, fix nitrogen, or add colour, structure and shade. Some grow compact on their own, others respond well to pruning.

Great for low-maintenance syntropic systems, easy picking, and dense, overachieving gardens that do more in less space.
